Every Child`s right to survival, innocence, and hope
Children are Innocent and full of hope, every child
irrespective of the child’s background, and race has all the rights every other
child has.
Every child has a right to survival and development, a
right to name, a right to dignity of the child, and many more.
In 1989, world leaders made a historic commitment to children
all over the world by adopting the united nations convention on the rights of
the child.
Child right is the most widely ratified human rights
treaty in history and has helped transform children’s lives around the world.
But still, not every child gets to enjoy a full childhood,
too many childhoods are cut short.
So many factors are depriving children of their
fundamental human rights ranging from digital technology, environmental change,
prolonged conflict, and mass migration are completely changing childhood.
Children today face new threats to their rights, but they
also have new opportunities to realize their rights.
Child rights include the right to health, education, family
life, play and recreation, an adequate standard of living, and to be protected
from abuse and harm.
Survival rights include a child’s right to life and essential
needs like nutrition, shelter, living standards, and medical services. This
includes access to medical care, nutrition, protection from harmful habits (including
drugs), and safe working environments under the right to health.
These rights are the hope of the child to a better life
and a brighter future.
The healthy development of children is crucial to the
future well-being of any society, because they are still developing, and children
are more vulnerable.
Poor living conditions such as poverty, inadequate health
care, malnutrition, safe water, housing, and environmental pollution are a
barrier to children living a healthy life.
Implementing child rights makes it easy for children to
have a better life these are the hopes of the children and they shouldn’t be deprived
of them.
